Our kids have these new-fangled "Spring breaks" so we took ourselves off to The Channel Islands. In true cantBarsed style we used a "Meet & Greet" service so we didn't even have to park the cantBarsedMobile at the airport. I hadn't renewed my passport so this was as far south as we could get within the UK. At just 25 minutes from Gatwick, on the same latitude as the Champagne region of France, Jersey is a beautiful island which offers something for everyone. There are palm trees everywhere, beautiful clean beaches, sunny spring weather and Jersey Cows!

We managed to catch some surf on our last day which rounded off a great week. and we used Holiday Autos car rental and saved £10 by booking online, they're brokers for all the major car rental companies so it's worth using them to compare holiday car rental prices.
